Brian Halliday

Brian is a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College and Honorary Consultant Cardiologist at Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals, Guys’ and St Thomas’ NHS Trust and BHF Intermediate Fellow,. His research and clinical interests focus on the management of patients with cardiomyopathy and the use of cardiovascular magnetic resonance to improve treatment stratification. He aims to develop patient-centred, precision treatment approaches using targeted therapies and adaptable strategies guided by in-depth characterisation of the underlying dynamic disease substrate. He is particularly interested in the concepts of myocardial recovery and remission and methods to distinguish between the two.

Rebecca Dobson

Dr Rebecca Dobson is a Consultant Cardiologist at the Liverpool Centre for Cardiovascular Science at the University of Liverpool, Liverpool Heart & Chest Hospital, in Liverpool, UK. She has a special interest in imaging and cardio-oncology.

Dr Dobson's research interests include cardio-oncology, cardiac imaging and advanced echocardiography, including chemotherapy-induced left ventricular systolic dysfunction, cardiac disease in cancer patients, carcinoid heart disease and heart valve disease.

Dr Dobson is a member of the British Cardiovascular Society, the British Cardio-Oncology Society, the British Society of Echocardiography and the Royal College of Physicians.
